The Orivus Fellowship has officially entered its third and final stage, marking the transition from structured training and evaluation into practical workplace experience for selected fellows.
The fellowship, powered by Seraph Public Relations and Media, was designed to bridge the gap between learning professional skills and gaining the real-world experience required to apply them effectively.
Following the completion of the training phase and a subsequent evaluation process, selected fellows have now been assigned to partner organisations for internship placements, with onboarding already underway.
From Training to Evaluation, and Now Experience
The first stage of The Orivus Fellowship focused on structured training across key professional areas, including Public Relations and Media, Brand Management, AI Content Creation, SEO and GEO Marketing, and Social Media Strategy.
Throughout the training phase, fellows participated in classes, practical assignments, collaborative projects, and the Fellowship's Leadership & Industry Series, which brought experienced professionals into the learning journey.
The second stage focused on evaluation.
Fellows were assessed based on factors including participation, engagement, assignments, practical work, consistency, and overall performance during the training period. The evaluation process helped determine eligibility for the limited internship opportunities available through the programme. Certificates were also awarded to fellows who completed the training.
With the evaluation now completed, the fellowship has moved into Stage Three: Internship Placement and Professional Experience.
Interns Begin Their Professional Journey
Selected fellows have been assigned to partner organizations based on their learning tracks, skills, performance, and the available internship opportunities.
Partner organizations span different areas of professional practice, giving interns the opportunity to experience workplace environments, contribute to real projects, work with professionals, and apply the skills developed during their fellowship training.
Onboarding has already begun, with interns being connected to their respective host organzsations and receiving information regarding their roles, reporting structures, responsibilities, and internship expectations.
The internship phase is intended to provide more than a certificate. It is designed to give fellows an opportunity to understand how professional work operates beyond the classroom and to develop the habits, communication skills, judgment, and practical experience required in their respective fields.
A Different Approach to Skills Development
The progression of The Orivus Fellowship from training to evaluation and now internship placement reflects a central principle behind the programme: skills development should not end when the class ends.
Many emerging professionals acquire knowledge through courses and training programmes but have limited opportunities to apply that knowledge in real professional environments.
The Orivus Fellowship was created to address that gap by combining structured learning with practical projects, industry engagement, evaluation, and workplace exposure.
As fellows begin their internships, the focus now shifts from what they have learned to how effectively they can apply it.
What Comes Next
The internship phase will continue over the coming months (till December), with fellows expected to engage with their host organisations, take on assigned responsibilities, learn from workplace professionals, and contribute meaningfully within the scope of their roles.
The Orivus Fellowship team will also continue to monitor the placement process and maintain communication with partner organisations and interns throughout the experience.
For the fellows, Stage Three represents another important milestone in their professional development.
The training gave them the foundation. The evaluation identified readiness. The internship now provides the environment to put that learning into practice.
The Orivus Fellowship continues to build toward its broader goal of developing emerging professionals who are not only trained, but better prepared for the realities of the workplace.
